This 1974 Opel Manta is a red-over-gray coupe that is described as a running project, and it was acquired by the seller in January 2021 following an extended period of storage. The car is powered by a 1.9L inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes slotted 13″ aluminum wheels and a single exhaust outlet. The seller notes that the braking system does not function and the car will require a mechanical overhaul before it can be driven, and it is currently registered as planned non-operational in the state of California. This Manta project is offered at no reserve with a California title in the seller’s name.

The bodywork is finished in red and accented by bright trim, and during prior ownership the bumpers were removed. Features include a front-hinged hood, “Manta” and “1900” badging, and pop-out rear quarter windows. Corrosion is noted on the lower windshield cowl area and the quarter panels, and additional flaws include paint chipping, scratches, indentations, missing trim, deteriorating rubber seals and weatherstripping, and missing side mirrors and antenna.

Slotted 13″ aluminum wheels are mounted with a mix of BFGoodrich and Daytona tires that have visible sidewall cracks. The seller states that the brakes are inoperative and the system has to be overhauled before the car can be driven.
