This Porsche 911 1974-1977 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe was produced in November 1973 and is #274 of 528 examples built for the US market for the model year. Power is supplied by a numbers-matching 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was acquired by the seller from its longterm previous owner three years ago and has since received a repaint in its factory shade of Guards Red. Recent maintenance is said to have included a new clutch, engine mounts, brake pads, Pirelli tires, CV boots, and other suspension components. This 911 is now offered with service records dating back to 1983, an owner’s manual, three keys, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.

A repaint in the factory shade of Guards Red (G8) was completed in December 2018 and reportedly included removal of the glass. The resulting finish is shown up close in the photo gallery below. The seller notes that the front hood does not sit flush and the right-front quarter panel was replaced under previous ownership.

New Pirelli P6000 tires were recently installed according to the seller, along with new brake pads, CV boots, and other suspension components.

Originally trimmed in Midnight Blue leatherette, the cabin has been reupholstered in tan with matching carpets and door panels. The three-spoke steering wheel shows wear, and the Blaupunkt cassette stereo is inoperable per the seller. A replacement headliner was installed during the repaint, and the floors are pictured with the carpets removed in the gallery below.
