This 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle was sold new by Continental Volkswagen in Denver, Colorado, and was reportedly in storage between 1982 and 2015, when it was acquired by the current owner showing 23k miles. The car is finished in Brilliant Orange over black vinyl and powered by an air-cooled 1.6L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, front bucket seats, wing windows, dual exhaust outlets, and an AM/FM radio. Recent work consisted of adjusting the brakes and carburetor. This Super Beetle is now offered on behalf of the current owner in California with service records, an owner’s manual, literature, and a clean Colorado title.

The exterior is finished in Brilliant Orange (20B) and features factory dual exhaust outlets, fender-mounted front turn signals, and impact-absorbing bumpers. The owner states that the left-rear fender was refinished under previous ownership and notes chips and scratches around the passenger door.

Steel 15″ wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are wrapped in period 165-series Atlas Radial tires. The spare is located in the front cargo area, and the brakes were recently adjusted.

The interior features black vinyl seats with a matching padded dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a rear defroster, a locking glove box, a heater, and an AM/FM radio.

The four-spoke steering wheel wears a Wolfsburg-branded horn button and frames a 100-mph VDO speedometer with an inset fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles. The notes a steering wheel vibration at 55 mph.

The air-cooled 1.6L flat-four is equipped with a single carburetor and drives the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The carburetor was recently adjusted.
