This Ford F-Series 1973-1979 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1975 Ford F-250 is a Crew Cab pickup that is powered by a 460ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is equipped with a Dana 60 front axle and a Dana 70 rear axle with a rear limited-slip differential in addition to four-wheel disc brakes, rear Bilstein shocks, aftermarket air conditioning, a RetroSound stereo, a Ford steering wheel, and brown cloth and vinyl upholstery. Acquired by the seller in 2020, this F-250 is now offered at no reserve with a Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Yellow and features a Styleside bed. The seller reports that body panels have been replaced, and there is rust on the tailgate. Exterior blemishes are shown in the gallery below.
Steel 16″ wheels are wrapped in Cooper Adventurer A/T tires, and the truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs. The seller reports that a RedHead steering gear is equipped. Rear Bilstein shocks and disc brakes at all four corners are equipped.
The Crew Cab cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in brown cloth and vinyl, and there are tears in the rear seat upholstery. Interior appointments include a RetroSound stereo, a tilting steering wheel, and aftermarket air conditioning.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery charge status, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 50k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 460ci V8 was installed under prior ownership, according to the seller.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels via a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller reports that a Dana 60 front axle and a Dana 70 rear axle with a limited-slip differential have been installed.
The Colorado title carries an “Exceeds Mechanical Limits” notation.
