This Pontiac Firebird (1970-1981) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1975 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has been refinished in red over black vinyl and is powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a shaker hood, Trans Am graphics, a rear spoiler, dual exhaust, 15” Rally II wheels, power-assisted steering and brakes, a Hurst shifter, and an aftermarket head unit. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2022, this Firebird is now offered in Florida with a clean Ohio title.
The car was repainted red under previous ownership and features a shaker hood, Trans Am graphics, front fender vents, a rear spoiler, dual body-color side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. Blemishes in the paint are displayed in photos in the gallery.
Steel 15″ Rally II wheels show wear and scratches and are mounted with 255/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs in front and drums in back.
The cabin features front bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl, together with matching door panels and carpets protected by Firebird-themed floor mats. A Hurst shifter is mounted in the center console, an aftermarket CD player is fitted to the dashboard, and the windows are crank-operated.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges mounted in an engine-turned aluminum dash panel. The odometer shows 90k miles, a handful of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The 400ci V8 wears a shaker hood scoop and was factory rated at 185 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. The engine was serviced in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
