This Honda Motorcycles got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1976 Honda CR250M Elsinore is powered by a 248cc two-stroke single paired with a five-speed transmission and is finished in red with yellow and white graphics. Equipment includes an upswept expansion-chamber exhaust system, a Mikuni carburetor, D.I.D alloy rims, drum brakes, a black cross-braced handlebar, a black vinyl-upholstered solo seat, high-mounted fenders, and a side stand. The bike is said to have been refurbished and was acquired in 2020 by the seller, who reports subsequently replacing the plastics and removing the spark arrestor. In preparation for the sale, the oil was changed and the air filter was cleaned. This CR250M Elsinore is now offered at no reserve in Arizona for off-road use only with removed parts and a bill of sale.
The bike is said to have been refurbished and is finished in red with white and yellow graphics as well as black number plate backgrounds. The seller reports installing replacement fenders and number plates, and additional equipment includes a 1.8-gallon fuel tank, a black vinyl-upholstered solo seat, and serrated black-finished foot pegs. Photos showing chipped and scratched paint on the fuel tank are provided in the gallery below.
D.I.D 21″ front and 18″ rear alloy rims are laced with butted stainless-steel spokes to drum-brake hubs and wear Dunlop Geomax MX53 tires. Suspension consists of a conventional fork as well as dual preload-adjustable shocks mounted to the swingarm.
The black cross-braced handlebar is equipped with black rubber grips and rubber-tipped levers with accordion covers as well as an ignition-cutoff switch on the left and a twist-grip throttle on the right. No instrumentation is present, therefore total mileage is unknown.
The 248cc two-stroke single is equipped with a kick starter, a Mikuni carburetor, and a high-mount expansion-chamber exhaust system. The seller reports preparing the bike for the sale by changing the oil and cleaning the air filter.
Power is transferred to the rear wheel through an oiled multi-disc clutch, a five-speed transmission, and a drive chain.
The removed spark arrestor, fenders, and number plates will accompany the motorcycle.
This CR250M does not have a title or registration. It is being sold on a bill of sale only.
