This 1976 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing was acquired by the seller in 2020 and was subsequently refurbished, with reported work having included replacing the timing belts, water pump, and various brake, ignition, and suspension components as well as resealing the driveshaft, replacing the rear rim, overhauling the carburetors, and refinishing the storage compartment lid, mufflers, and stands. The bike is finished in yellow and is powered by a 999cc SOHC flat-four paired with a five-speed transmission. Features include an enclosed driveshaft, a locking storage compartment, an electric starter, a removable kick starter, a four-into-two exhaust system, a two-up seat, a passenger grab bar, wire-spoke wheels, triple disc brakes, chrome fenders and mirrors, and both center and side stands. This GL1000 is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, repair invoices, parts receipts, a parts catalog, service manuals, repair and parts invoices, spare and removed parts, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The bodywork is finished in yellow, with black and blue pinstripes accenting the faux fuel tank and the radiator shrouds. Features include a two-up seat, a passenger grab handle, and chrome fenders and mirrors. The seller states that the locking storage compartment lid was refinished in 2020, at which time the center stand, side stand, and foot pegs were powder-coated.

Laced wheels with a 19″ front rim and a 17″ replacement rear rim are wrapped in Dunlop tires. Stopping power is provided by dual disc brakes up front along with a single disc at the rear. Suspension consists of a conventional fork as well as dual chrome shocks mounted to the swingarm on the left and the final drive enclosure on the right. Per the seller, work performed since under current ownership included resealing the fork, overhauling the brake master cylinders, and replacing the steering head bearings, brake lines, brake pads, caliper pistons and seals, and wheel bearings and seals.

The chrome handlebar is mounted aft of a green-dial Nippon Seiki 150-mph speedometer and a matching tachometer with an inset coolant temperature gauge and a sun-faded 8,500-rpm redline. A fuel level gauge is mounted atop the faux fuel tank. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles, approximately 400 of which have been ridden by the seller.

The liquid-cooled 999cc SOHC flat-four features an electric starter, a removable kick starter, a gear-driven counter-rotating alternator, and a four-into-two exhaust system with refinished mufflers and chrome heat shields. Service under current ownership included overhauling and tuning the four Keihin carburetors and replacing the timing belts, belt rollers, and belt tensioners as well as changing the thermostat, condenser, ignition points, and fuel lines. The seller states that the water pump was also replaced as part of the refurbishment.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a multi-plate wet clutch and a five-speed transmission as well as an enclosed driveshaft, which was reportedly resealed as part of the refurbishment.
