New to BaT? Learn how it works.

This 1976 Renault 4 was imported to the US from Northern Italy by the selling dealer earlier this year. The car is believed to have undergone a restoration in 2015 that included a repaint in the original turquoise, reupholstered interior, and other cosmetic work. The 845cc inline-four was reportedly rebuilt at the same time, and is now backed by a four-speed manual transmission. An oil change, new air filter, and new fuel filter were installed by the seller in preparation for sale, and the tires and brakes are noted to have been replaced recently. Service records from the selling dealership’s time with the vehicle are included in the sale, and the car is offered with a clean Florida title.

The seller claims that the car was restored while in Italy in mid-2015, but there are no receipts. The car is believed to have been repainted its original turquoise color, though the seller notes that some rock chips and other blemishes from use are present.
