1977 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

This 1977 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is finished in Frost Orange Firemist Metallic over Antique Light Buckskin leather, and it is powered by a 425ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a rear-half vinyl roof covering, 15″ steel wheels with covers, opera lamps, power-adjustable front seats, and a push-button radio. The car was delivered new to Braun Cadillac of Orlando, Florida, and later spent time in Michigan before being acquired by the seller in 2020. Subsequent work has included servicing of the fuel system and replacement of the shocks. This Coupe DeVille is now offered in New Mexico with an owner’s manual, an options sheet, and a Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The car is finished in Frost Orange Firemist Metallic (96) with white accent stripes and features an optional “Cabriolet” rear-half vinyl roof covering, opera lamps, and a power-adjustable right mirror. Flaws include scratches and a crack in the paint as shown in the photo gallery below.

Steel 15″ wheels with covers are wrapped in 235/75 Michelin whitewall tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The front and rear shock absorbers were replaced in February 2021.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Antique Light Buckskin leather (673) with matching door panels and carpeting. Woodgrain trim accents the dashboard, and additional appointments include six-way power-adjustable 50/50-split Dual Comfort front seats, power windows, power locks, cruise control, and a push-button radio. The air conditioning does not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting and telescoping column and frames an 85-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.

The 425ci V8 was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque when new. The accessory drive belts, fuel filter, a fuel hose, and a fuel line were replaced in March 2021.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The exhaust was replaced under prior ownership. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.

The included options sheet shows factory options along with a total price of $11,725.

An owner’s manual is included in the sale along with service records for work completed under current ownership.
