Modified 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe

This 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe was acquired by the seller in 2022 and subsequently refurbished. Work is said to have consisted of overhauling the 305ci V8 with a roller camshaft and L98 cylinder heads, fitting a 2,500-rpm stall converter for the three-speed automatic transmission, refinishing the exterior in black, and refreshing the black vinyl interior. American Racing 15″ wheels, Doestch Tech front shocks, and four-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood rear calipers are also installed, and additional features include a cowl hood, a rear spoiler, halo-ring LED headlights, a Kenwood radio, air conditioning, a B&M Quicksilver floor shifter, a Holley 650-cfm carburetor, and an aftermarket exhaust system with an X-pipe. This Camaro is now offered with partial service records, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The seller states that rust repairs were performed to the lower portion of the fenders before the car was refinished in black under current ownership. Exterior details include a cowl hood, halo-ring LED headlights, sport mirrors, and a three-piece rear spoiler. The seller notes the presence of paint blemishes, and additional flaws include scratches in the rear window glass and cracked tail light lenses.

Doestch Tech front shocks are installed up front while replacement factory shocks are said to be fitted out back. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with red-finished front calipers, black Wilwood-branded rear calipers, and slotted and cross-drilled rotors at the rear.

The 2+2 cabin is trimmed in black vinyl, and work under current ownership reportedly involved the replacement of the carpeting, the installation of sound-deadening material, and a refurbishment of the dash pad and door panels. Interior appointments include a Kenwood radio, hand-crank windows, and a B&M Quicksilver floor shifter. Per the seller, the air conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant and features a replacement compressor and blower.
