This Ford F-Series 1973-1979 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1977 Ford F-150 Ranger was cosmetically and mechanically refurbished under previous ownership, which is said to have included installing the replacement 400ci V8, repainting the exterior, installing a 1979-style front fascia, and refreshing the interior. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and additional equipment includes 15″ ten-hole wheels, Skyjacker shocks, manually locking front hubs, a Warn XD9000i winch, a receiver hitch, a spray-on bedliner, a replacement grille, an aftermarket stereo head unit, and a CB radio. The truck was acquired by the seller in August 2023, and exhaust components were replaced under current ownership. This dentside F-150 is offered at no reserve with a Deluxe Marti report, the owner’s manual, and a clean Montana title in the seller’s name.
The truck is a short-bed example that left the factory finished in Light Jade and was repainted under previous ownership, at which time the bed is said to have been replaced and a grille from a later-model pickup was installed. Features include a spray-on bedliner, driving lights, a receiver hitch, and a chrome front bumper with a Warn XD9000i winch.
The 15″ ten-hole wheels wear 33×12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires, which were reportedly mounted in 2023. A matching spare wheel and tire will accompany the truck. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The truck is equipped with Selectro manually locking front hubs, Skyjacker shocks, and power steering. The front C-bushings and track bar bushings are said to have been replaced in 2022.
The bench has been reupholstered in tan vinyl and diamond-patterned black vinyl has been applied to the ceiling. Amenities include an aftermarket stereo head unit, a heater, and a roof-mounted control panel with a CB radio, a voltage gauge, and auxiliary switches.
The steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 400ci V8 is said to have been installed in late 2022, at which time an aluminum Luxerad radiator was installed and the battery was replaced. Exhaust components, the fuel sending unit, and the fuel hoses were reportedly replaced in 2023.
