This 1977 Lincoln Continental Mark V is powered by a 460ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in cream with a gold vinyl Landau roof over gold and cream upholstery. Features include the Gold-Cream Luxury group, opera windows, fender vents, 15″ wheels, retractable headlight doors, chrome bumpers, cruise control, power windows and locks, and a push-button AM/FM stereo with an 8-track tape player. The car was sold new at Don Thompson Lincoln-Mercury of Circleville, Ohio, and reportedly remained with its first owner for 46 years, after which it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023. This Continental Mark V shows 18k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature and a clean South Carolina title.

The car is finished in cream and is equipped with a gold vinyl Landau roof cover as well as color-coordinated bodyside moldings and pinstripes. Additional exterior details include a faux spare tire hump, fender vents, retractable headlight doors, opera windows, chrome bumpers, and a bright grille, rocker panels, trim, and mirror caps. The power antenna does not work.

The 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with older 225-series Michelin thin-whitewall tires that should be replaced before extended driving. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners.

Power-adjustable Twin Comfort Lounge front seats and a rear bench are upholstered in gold with cream inserts, and woodgrain trim accents the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels. Amenities include a heated driver mirror, rear defrost, cruise control, automatic headlights, interval windshield wipers, power windows and door locks, and an AM/FM stereo with an 8-track player.

The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and fronts an 80-mph speedometer, a Cartier-branded clock, and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 18k miles.

The 460ci V8 was factory rated at 208 horsepower and 356 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer reports that the gas tank along with the fuel pump and filter were replaced under previous ownership, and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.

An Ownercard, a consumer information sheet, and additional manufacturer’s literature will accompany the car.

The South Carolina title carries “Exempt” and “Antique” brands.
