This Datsun 280Z got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1978 Datsun 280Z is a 2+2 model that was acquired by the seller in August 1979 and is powered by a replacement 2.8-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in green over tan vinyl and features chrome bumpers, a vented hood, replacement 14″ alloy wheels, a heated rear window, a Clarion AM/FM radio, and a wooden shift knob. This 280Z is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, service records, a spare engine, a spare set of wheels, a removed Clarion AM/FM radio, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.

The car was finished in Racing Green from the factory and features chrome bumpers with rubber end caps and front overriders, a vented hood, and a retractable antenna. The rear quarter panels are said to have been repainted approximately 10 years ago to correct rock chips, and rust repair above the passenger window was carried out at that time. Rock chips in the hood are shown in the gallery below.
