This Lincoln Continental Mark V (1977-1979) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V is finished in white over Wedgewood Blue velour upholstery and is powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. A white vinyl landau roof is fitted and equipment includes 15″ turbine-style cast aluminum wheels, disc brakes, power steering, a sunroof, and concealed headlights. The cabin is outfitted with power-adjustable Comfort Lounge front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, and an AM/FM stereo with an eight-track player. The seller purchased the car in 2019 and subsequent work consisted of replacing the fuel pump and battery. This Mark V is now offered in Arizona at no reserve with a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The car is finished in White (9D) and features a white vinyl landau roof cover, a power sunroof, a rear window defroster, concealed headlights, functional fender vents, bumper impact strips, and a simulated spare tire carrier.
The 15″ turbine-style cast aluminum wheels are mounted with 235/75 Firestone white-stripe tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the car came equipped from the factory with power steering.
The cabin features power-adjustable Comfort Lounge front seats and a rear bench trimmed in Wedgewood Blue velour, while woodgrain trim adorns the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning with automatic temperature control as well as cruise control, power windows and door locks, and an AM/FM stereo with an eight-track player.
The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames an 85-mph speedometer, an inoperative Cartier-branded clock, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 400ci V8 features a two-barrel carburetor for a factory rating of 166 horsepower. The fuel pump and battery are said to have been replaced in 2024.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. A replacement dual exhaust system has been fitted.
