This Lincoln Continental Mark V (1977-1979) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V is finished in Jubilee Gold Moondust Metallic over Cream leather and is powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Light Cream landau vinyl roof, 15″ aluminum wheels, disc brakes, power steering, concealed headlights, opera windows, Comfort Lounge front seats, automatic climate control, power windows, and an AM/FM stereo with an 8-track player. This Mark V was acquired by the seller in 2023 and is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Jubilee Gold Moondust Metallic and features a Light Cream landau vinyl roof, a rear window defroster, concealed headlights, functional fender vents, and opera windows as well as bumper impact strips and a simulated spare tire carrier.
Aluminum 15″ wheels are mounted with 235/75 Michelin narrow-whitewall tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs at each corner, and the car came equipped from the factory with power steering.
The cabin features Comfort Lounge front seats and a rear bench trimmed in Cream leather, while woodgrain trim adorns the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include automatic climate control, power windows, power locks, and an AM/FM stereo with an 8-track player. The cruise control is inoperative, peeling trim is visible on the passenger-side dash, and the air conditioning compressor was reportedly replaced in preparation for the sale.
The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames an 80-mph speedometer, a Cartier-branded clock, an optional digital miles-to-empty indicator, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles.
The 400ci V8 uses a two-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 159 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Replacement exhaust system components are visible.
