This Pontiac Firebird (1970-1981) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was acquired by the seller in 2006, and a subsequent refurbishment included refinishing the car in Canary Yellow. It has a saddle interior, and power is from a 403ci V8 paired with a three-speed TH350 automatic transmission. Features include a shaker hood, 15″ turbine wheels, glass T-tops, and air conditioning. Work performed during current ownership is said to have included an engine rebuild and the installation of an Edelbrock intake. This Trans Am is now offered with the removed intake, T-top covers, spare parts, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.

The engine-turned instrument panel houses a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer with an integrated clock, and gauges for water temperature, voltage, fuel level, and oil pressure, the latter of which does not work. A spare dashboard bezel is included in the sale. The five-digit odometer shows 1k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
