This Volkswagen Bus got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1979 Volkswagen Type 2 is a Westfalia pop-top Campmobile that is finished in Sage Green over yellow and green tartan cloth upholstery, and it is powered by a 2.0-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, VW-branded hubcaps, louvered side windows, curtains, a Bluetooth-capable JVC stereo, a folding rear bench, slide-out rear shelving, an upper bunk, an Eberspächer gas heater, and a sink with a faucet. The van was acquired in 2022 by the seller, who reports that subsequent work involved replacing the windshield, sink water pump, clutch assembly, shocks, CV boots, and battery as well as brake, fuel system, and ignition components. This Type 2 Westfalia is now offered with a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

Finished at the factory in Sage Green, the van features white bumpers and a white Westfalia pop-top, and the seller reports areas of resprayed paint. Equipment includes a front spare tire mount, halogen headlamps, dual mirrors, jalousie side windows, rear air scoops, and a shore power connection. The seller states the windshield was replaced during current ownership, and it was resealed along with the fiberglass top, which was sanded and refinished with marine paint. Dings and dents are noted around the vehicle as well as rust under the battery, on the right-rear quarter panel, and where the top meets the body panels.
