1980 Datsun 280ZX 10th Anniversary Edition 5-Speed

This 1980 Datsun 280ZX is #1,962 of 3,000 10th Anniversary Edition examples produced and is finished in gold and black over tan leather upholstery. The car is powered by a 2.8-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes removable T-top roof panels, 14″ aluminum alloy wheels, power steering, a front spoiler, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Hitachi AM/FM cassette stereo. The selling dealer acquired the car in May 2023, and it now shows 33k miles. This S130 280ZX is offered in Arkansas with a clean Kentucky title.

The 280ZX 10th Anniversary Edition included black window trim and commemorative decals on the fenders and rear hatch. This example is finished in black and gold and features a front spoiler, headlight washers, a vented hood, removable T-top roof panels, a heated rear window, a rear window wiper, a power-retractable antenna, and a single exhaust outlet with a polished finisher. The left front turn signal lens is cracked, and the right-front pinch weld is damaged.

Factory 14″ aluminum alloy wheels feature gold-finished accents and are mounted with 195/70 Sailun Inspire tires. The car is equipped with power steering and four-wheel disc brakes.

The cockpit features six-way manually adjustable bucket seats upholstered in tan leather and complemented by color-coordinated door panels, a contrasting brown dashboard, and brown carpets. Additional amenities include cruise control, automatic climate control, power windows, rear cargo straps, a Hitachi AM/FM cassette stereo, and 280ZX-branded carpeted floor mats. The interior dimmer switch knob is missing, and the center console coin tray is scratched. A crack is visible on the dashboard.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. A digital clock and readouts for oil pressure and voltage are housed in the center stack. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 33k miles.

The fuel-injected 2.8L L28E inline-six was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque.
