This Ford Fiesta got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1980 Ford Fiesta is finished in beige and powered by a replacement 1.6-liter inline-four fitted with a cast-iron cylinder head, dual Weber 40 DCOE carburetors, and a custom exhaust system. Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle, and additional modifications include H4 headlights, Ford Rally Sport wheels, a rear sway bar, and a rear spoiler. The seller acquired the car over three years ago, and service has since included replacing the water pump, rebuilding the alternator, and refreshing the brakes and suspension. This Mk1 Fiesta is now offered at no reserve with receipts from the seller and a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name.

The Mk1 Fiesta was designed by Tom Tjaarda at Ghia, and US-market models were assembled at the Saarlouis and Cologne production plants in Germany. This example is finished in beige and features brown side stripes, a European-spec rear spoiler, and Hella H4 headlights. The front floors were replaced by the seller, who notes areas of paint touch up around the body. Rust is present in the trunk floor, around the lower lip of the hatch, and on the bottoms of the doors.

Powder coated 13″ Ford Rally Sport wheels wear Nankang AS-1 tires that measure 175/50 and show 2020 date codes. The car has been lowered and fitted with a rear sway bar. Work performed during current ownership reportedly included replacing the shock absorbers, tie rod ends, ball joints, and steering rack boots, as well as servicing the brakes and repacking the wheel bearings.

The interior features seats trimmed in gray fabric with black vinyl seatbacks, brown door panels, and a black dashboard with wood accents. Sound deadening was added to the floors, firewall, door panels, and rear inner quarters, and a replacement carpet kit was installed during current ownership.

A four-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that consists of a 90-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and engine temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 62k miles, around 10k of which were added by the seller. The trip odometer button is said to work intermittently, and total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 1,600cc inline-four was installed approximately three years ago and reportedly features dual Weber 40 DCOE side-draft carburetors, a non-emissions cast-iron cylinder head, a custom exhaust system with aftermarket headers, and a Timavo intake manifold. The water pump, ignition components, and engine seals are said to have been replaced by the seller at that time, and the alternator and carburetors were also rebuilt. The seller notes hard cold starts and states that the chokes on the carburetors are not hooked up.
