1980 Porsche 911SC Coupe

This 1980 Porsche 911SC coupe is finished in Light Green Metallic over a tan leather interior and is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. Features include 16″ Fuchs wheels, front and rear spoilers, fog lights, European-style headlights, a MOMO steering wheel, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt head unit. The car was acquired in 2000 by the seller, who has added approximately 10k of the 90k miles shown. Service in April 2021 consisted of an oil change, compression test, and pre-purchase inspection. This 911SC is now offered with service records, owner’s manuals, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in Light Green Metallic (275) and features front and rear spoilers, European-style headlights, fog lights, and black rear fender guards. Wear is noted on the front spoiler, and stone chips are present on the front fascia.

Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels feature black centers and wear Dunlop D60 A2 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.

The cabin is upholstered in tan leather along with a matching dashboard and door panel trim. Amenities include power windows, floor mats, air conditioning, and an aftermarket Blaupunkt cassette stereo. The seller notes a tear on the driver seat and blemishes on the rear panel covering.

A leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. The six-digit odometer shows 90k miles, 10k of which were added by the seller.

The fuel-injected 3.0-liter flat-six was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. In April 2021, German Autowerk performed a valve adjustment, oil change, and a pre-purchase inspection, the results of which can be viewed in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 915 five-speed manual transaxle, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the photo gallery.

Owner’s manuals, service records, a handwritten logbook, and three keys are included in the sale.
