This Toyota Cressida & Mark II got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1980 Toyota Cressida was delivered new to Page Imports, Inc. of Southfield, Michigan, and was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2022 and now shows 55k miles. The car is powered by a 2.6-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and finished in silver over maroon cloth upholstery. Equipment includes 14″ wheels, full wheel covers, chrome-finished bumpers, body-side moldings, C-pillar vents, cruise control, automatic air conditioning, a factory AM/FM/8-track stereo, a Cobra CB radio, and power windows and door locks. This Cressida is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer in Florida with a copy of a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The car is finished in silver and features chrome-finished bumpers, side moldings, and louvered C-pillar vent covers. Additional exterior details include bright-finished window trim, door handles, and mirrors. The selling dealer notes the chrome finish is peeling on both rocker panel trim pieces.
Steel 14″ wheels wear full covers and are mounted with 185/70 Goodyear T-Metric tires. A portion of rubber is missing from the sidewall on one tire. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The interior features seating surfaces trimmed in maroon crushed velour upholstery that is accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard and carpets. Woodgrain trim accents the door panels and additional appointments include a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, automatic air conditioning, a rear window defroster, a Cobra CB radio, and a factory AM/FM stereo with an 8-track player. Damage is visible on the radio display.
The four-spoke steering wheel has a visibly cracked finish and frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 55k miles.
The fuel-injected 2.6L 4M-E SOHC inline-six was rated at 110 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
The copy of the window sticker shows initial delivery to Page Imports, Inc. of Southfield, Michigan, and lists factory equipment and a total price of $9,441.
