New to BaT? Learn how it works.

This 1982 Zastava 750 was purchased by the seller in 2018 in Macedonia and subsequently refurbished in tribute to the Fiat-Abarth TCR 1000. Work included a repaint in light blue and a refresh of the black interior, as well as the installation of a 903cc inline-four and a 5-speed manual gearbox. Other equipment includes new suspension and braking components, Cromodora wheels, and a new water pump. This Abarth tribute is currently on display at the Abarth Works Museum in Lier, Belgium, where it is being offered with build records and Bulgarian registration.

The car was purchased by the seller’s business in 2018 and refurbished as an Abarth TCR 1000 tribute. Work included sandblasting the chassis, replacement of corroded panels, the installation of an Abarth-style front bumper and fender flares, and a repaint in light blue. Gray Abarth stripes have been added to the lower doors and roof, and Abarth badging is present up front.

13″ Cromodora wheels wear 185/60 Firestone Firehawk tires. The independent front suspension features replacement shock absorbers, control arms, and bushings, while the stock rear suspension is retained. Braking is from replacement rotors and pads up front and new drums and shoes out back.

The interior features a body-color dashboard and floors. Replacement front seats are trimmed in black leather, as is the rear bench. Other features include black vinyl door panels, a black roll bar, and an OZ Racing steering wheel. The mechanical odometer shows 2k kilometers (~1,200 miles), which represents the distance driven since the completion of the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown, and the seller reports that the car has not been driven since it went on display at the Abarth Works Museum six months ago.

The 903cc inline-four was reportedly rebuilt in 2018 with a more aggressive camshaft, new pistons, a Weber carburetor, a new oil pump, new ignition system, new belts, new hoses, and a new exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox and competition half shafts. The water pump was replaced in late 2018.
