This 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is finished in Ivory over brown vinyl and powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four paired paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include a black convertible soft top, steel 14″ wheels, a polished exhaust finisher, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a Sony AM/FM cassette stereo. Service less than 1,000 miles ago in 2017 is said to have included replacing the brake shoes and rotors, cleaning and gapping the spark plugs as well as an oil change and a coolant flush. The car has been registered in Washington since 2004 and was acquired by the seller in September 2020. This Spider Veloce is now offered with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Ivory and features a black convertible soft top. Additional equipment includes side mirrors, a polished exhaust finisher, and impact bumpers. The seller notes that the right door and rear quarter panel show evidence of a repaint. Tears in the convertible top and other exterior blemishes are shown up close in the gallery below.
Steel 14″ wheels are mounted with 185/70 Kumho Power Star 758 tires showing 2006 date codes. Service less than 1,000 miles ago in July 2017 reportedly included replacing the rear brake shoes and front brake as well as flushing the brake fluid.
The cabin features brown vinyl upholstery with matching carpets and door panels. Amenities include a lockable glovebox, a Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo, a heater, carpeted floor mats, and crank windows. The right window regulator is said to have been replaced in July 2017.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a tachometer and an 85-mph speedometer as well as auxiliary gauges housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 43k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 2.0-liter inline-four features Bosch electronic fuel injection and produced a factory-rated 111 horsepower and 117 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in July 2017 reportedly included a coolant flush and an oil change as well as cleaning and gapping the spark plugs. The seller notes an engine oil leak and a sound from the fuel pump.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are shown in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage from its first entry in July 2004 and lists history in Washington. The car’s color is noted as black in several entries, most recently in September 2020.
