This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette received an interior refresh in 2022 that included replacing the gray leather upholstery, and additional work that year involved re-coring the radiator and replacing fuel pump, valve cover gaskets, engine mounts, and mufflers. Power is provided by a 350ci L83 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in gray. It is equipped with a Positraction differential, 15″ eight-slot alloy wheels, removable glass roof panels, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an AM/FM cassette radio, cruise control, power windows, and air conditioning. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this C3 Corvette is now offered with the owner’s manual, partial service records, a car cover, and a clean Illinois title.
The car left the factory finished in Charcoal Metallic and was refinished circa 2015 under prior ownership. It is equipped with removable glass T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, side marker lights, fender air vents, sport mirrors, and quad taillights.
Eight-slot 15″alloy wheels are mounted with 255/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted discs. The lower ball joints were replaced in November 2021.
The interior was refreshed in 2022 with replacement door panels, speakers, carpets, and gray leather upholstery on the bucket seats. The air conditioning compressor and dash bulbs were also replaced at that time. Appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an AM/FM cassette stereo, cruise control, and power windows.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames an 85-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level are located in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership. A potential odometer rollover is noted on the Carfax report in a November 2003 entry. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci L83 V8 features Cross-Fire Injection and was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. Service in 2022 involved re-coring the radiator and replacing fuel injectors, the fuel pump, valve cover gaskets, engine mounts, and mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction differential. The transmission fluid and speedometer gear housing seal were replaced in December 2022.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned potential odometer rollover, lists no accidents or other damage, and displays history in Illinois.
