Finished in Mocha Dark Brown Metallic over brown vinyl and patterned cloth upholstery, the vehicle is powered by a 258ci inline-six mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a single-speed transfer case. Equipment includes a roof rack, tow hitch, independent front suspension, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM 8-track stereo. This Eagle wagon is offered at no reserve by the selling dealer in Missouri with manufacturer’s literature, service records, spare parts, the original build sheet, and an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title.
The body is finished in Mocha Dark Brown Metallic (4B) with gold pinstripes and features an AMC hood ornament, a roof rack, a tow hitch, a rear wiper, body-color wheel-arch flares, and chrome bumpers and trim. Blemishes are present on the right-rear wheel-arch flare, and other imperfections can be seen in the gallery below.
Factory 15″ wheels are mounted with 205/75 Starfire SF 340 tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc brakes up front and drums out back.
The cabin features split front seats and a rear bench upholstered in brown vinyl with patterned gray cloth inserts along with brown carpets and woodgrain trim on the dashboard and door panels. Appointments include a remote-adjustable driver door mirror, manual-crank windows, a retractable cargo cover, air conditioning, cruise control, and a factory AM/FM 8-track stereo. Tears in the upholstery and other blemishes are visible in the gallery.
The woodgrain-trimmed steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, supplementary gauges for fuel and temperature, and a quartz clock. The six-digit odometer shows 96k miles. A potential odometer rollback is noted in a 2008 entry on the Carfax report. True mileage is unknown.
The 258ci inline-six is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 112 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a single-speed transfer case. Corrosion is visible on underside components, which can be viewed in the gallery.
