This Chevrolet C/K (1973-1991) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1984 Chevrolet K10 Silverado 4×4 pickup is a short-bed model that underwent a refurbishment in 2020 that included repainting the body in red, installing a replacement 5.0-liter V8, overhauling the four-speed automatic transmission, reupholstering the interior in black, and replacing the suspension, brakes, fuel, ignition, cooling, and exhaust systems. Features include a dual-range transfer case, 15″ Pro Comp wheels, 31″ BFGoodrich KO2 tires, manually locking front hubs, a receiver hitch, an AM/FM cassette stereo, air conditioning, and power windows and locks. This K10 was purchased by the seller in 2023 and is now offered at no reserve with an accident-free Carfax report and a branded Ohio title in the seller’s name.

The truck was disassembled and finished in red during the 2020-2021 refurbishment, and replacement door handles, moldings, trim, and bumpers were subsequently installed. Features include quad headlights, a Fleetside bed, a receiver hitch, and exhaust outlets behind each rear tire. The windshield is said to have been replaced during refurbishment.

Polished 15″ Pro Comp alloy wheels are mounted with 31×10.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The wheels, tires, brakes, dampers, and various suspension pieces were reportedly replaced along with the refurbishment.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report indicates that “Exceeds Mechanical Limits” titles were issued in 1993 and twice in 2014, and the current title shows the same brand. Total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 5.0-liter V8 was reportedly installed in 2020 during the refurbishment along with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and aftermarket tubular exhaust headers. The carburetor, distributor, alternator, starter, water pump, flex plate, balancer, and fuel tanks are said to have also been replaced during the refurbishment. The seller notes a stiff throttle pedal.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. An aftermarket dual exhaust system has been fitted, and a black coating has been applied to underside surfaces. The seller notes that the transmission was overhauled along with the recent refurbishment, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, the aforementioned “Exceeds Mechanical Limits” branded titles, and registration history in Ohio and West Virginia, beginning with the first entry in 1993 through the final entry in 2016.

The current Ohio title carries an “Exceeds Mechanical Limits” odometer brand.
