This 1984 Chevrolet K20 Custom Deluxe 4×4 pickup is powered by a replacement 5.7-liter V8 equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor, Weiand intake manifold, tubular headers, and a dual exhaust system. The truck is finished in Apple Red over brown vinyl, and additional features include a three-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, 16″ white-finished steel wheels with hubcaps, a CD stereo, and a heater. The replacement engine was reportedly installed in 2020 and the truck was acquired by the seller in 2021. This K20 is now offered with a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Apple Red and was repainted under prior ownership. A spray-on liner has been applied to the Fleetside bed and the truck is equipped with a sliding rear window. There is a dent on the driver’s door and scratches on the roof. Rust is noted on the lower left quarter panel, rear bumper, and tailgate as well as inside the front right wheel well. The Carfax report lists an accident in 1993 that involved hitting a guardrail, though no further details are provided.
The 16″ white-finished steel wheels feature polished hubcaps and are mounted with 265/75 Trail Finder A/T tires that were installed around 2020. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in brown vinyl, along with a burgundy dash and door panels. A push-button radio is retained in the dash, while a Pioneer CD head unit has been installed underneath. There are tears on the left side of the bench seat and warping on the dash.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles, approximately 2,700 of which were added under current ownership.
The replacement 5.7-liter V8 was reportedly installed in 2020 and features an Edelbrock carburetor, a Weiand Speed Warrior intake manifold, tubular headers, and a dual exhaust system. An oil change was performed in December 2023.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. There is corrosion on the underbody, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident and lists history in Ohio, Kansas, and Texas from the first entry in 1993.
