1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE 5-Speed

This 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE is finished in Light Beige over a brown leather interior and is powered by a 1.3-liter 13B rotary engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Features include pop-up headlamps, a sunroof, 14″ alloy wheels, disc brakes, air conditioning, and an AM/FM cassette stereo with an equalizer. The car has reportedly been registered in Washington since new and was acquired by the seller in September 2020. Now showing 90k miles, this RX-7 is offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Light Beige (VG) and features a sunroof, power antenna, black trim, pop-up headlamps, and a rear window wiper. The driver-side quarter panel was refinished after a dent was repaired and there is a spot of rust along the bottom edge.

Factory 14″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 195/60 Federal Super Steel 657 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs that are are said to squeak when cold.

The interior features brown leather seats with a matching dashboard, carpets, and trim. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, a factory cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer, and an adjustable driver seat with lumbar support. The seller states the driver-side door seal is in need of replacement and that the carpets in the trunk and driver-side footwell are worn.

A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 90k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added by the seller.

The fuel-injected 1.3-liter Wankel rotary was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, and service in January 2021 included changing the oil and flushing the coolant.
