This 1985 BMW 325e was sold new from Critz BMW of Savannah, Georgia and modified by its previous owner with a 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six and a ZF five-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in silver over black leather, and additional modifications include a limited-slip differential, Magnaflow muffler, 15×7″ basketweave wheels, Tein springs, Koni shocks, an M-Tech-style body kit, Euro bumpers, and an aftermarket head unit. The car spent much of its life in Georgia and was acquired by the seller on BaT in July 2017. Work in September 2021 consisted of installation of a Spal fan, a coolant flush, and an oil change. This E30 is offered with partial service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and Connecticut registration in the seller’s name.

The car was finished from the factory in Polaris Silver Metallic and was repainted under prior ownership. Replica M-Tech-style front and rear valances have been added, along with is-style side skirts, a Euro rear plate filler, and Euro-spec bumpers. Additional features include a power sunroof, black side moldings, body-color mirrors, a decklid spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The passenger-side mirror has been refinished, reportedly due to paint flaking. The seller states that Euro wipers for the headlights are included in the sale.

“Euroweave” 15×7″ wheels are mounted with 205/50 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires. Work under current ownership is said to include replacing the brake booster, master cylinder, pads, and rotors. The car rides lower than stock on Koni shocks and Tein springs. Lemforder front control arms, Ireland adjustable sway bars, and Garagistic weld-in subframe reinforcements were reportedly added by the prior owner.

The interior features manually-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather with a matching dash, door panels, and carpet. Appointments include a Euro-spec analog clock, and an aftermarket head unit. The A/C is inoperable, and the removed factory radio is included in the sale. Wear is noted on the upholstery and a crack is present in the dashboard.

An M-Tech I steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges wrapped with aluminum trim rings. The six-digit mechanical odometer was repaired during current ownership and shows 206k miles, approximately 11k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six and ZF five-speed manual transmission were reportedly sourced from two different E36 M3s and installed by the previous owner. A Garagistic strut tower brace and Magnaflow muffler have also been added, and the ECU is said to have been re-flashed. A replacement fuel pump was installed in 2017, and work in 2019 included replacing the alternator, driveshaft, flex disc, and center support bearing. The coolant overflow tank was relocated and a coolant flush performed in September 2021, and a SPAL fan was added.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and displays history in Georgia, South Carolina, and Connecticut from the initial update in March 1992.
