This 1985 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is finished in white over dark red leather and powered by a 5.7-liter L98 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes the Z51 performance package, power accessories, cruise control, air conditioning, a removable roof panel, and a Bose sound system. The car was first delivered to the Chevrolet Central Office in Warren, Michigan, and the seller acquired it in 2016, reportedly from a Chevrolet executive who used it as a company car and later took ownership. This C4 shows 11k miles and is offered with a window sticker, a build sheet, an owner’s manual, removed parts, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The fiberglass body is finished in White (40L) and the car is equipped with a removable roof panel, pop-up and automatic cornering lights, tinted glass, fog lamps, black side moldings, and quad exhaust outlets. Several rock chips on the hood which were touched-up under previous ownership are noted by the seller.

Aluminum 16” turbine-style wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires. The car is equipped with power disc brakes, power steering, and the Z51 performance handling package, which featured Bilstein shocks, 9.5-inch wide wheels, and thicker stabilizer bars. The wheels and tires are said to have been mounted in 2016, and the original wheels and tires are included in the sale and pictured in the gallery below.

The cabin is upholstered in Dark Red Carmine leather and features matching carpets and door panels as well as a black dashboard. Equipment includes a six-way power adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, air conditioning, a tilting and telescoping steering wheel, a luggage concealment shade, a rear defroster, a factory alarm system, and a Delco-Bose AM/FM/cassette stereo.

The digital instrument panel includes a bar graph-style 85-mph speedometer, 6k-rpm tachometer, and fuel gauge as well as numeric readouts for the speed, RPMs, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel economy. The six-digit odometer shows under 11k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller.

The 1985 model year marked the debut of the 5.7-liter L98 V8, which was equipped with Bosch tuned-port fuel injection and factory rated at 230 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. The valve cover gasket was replaced in 1995, and the spark plugs, fuel filter, and hood struts were replaced during current ownership. The removed spark plugs and filter are included in the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and limited-slip rear differential with a 3.07:1 final drive ratio. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Chevrolet Central Office in Warren, Michigan as well as factory equipment, EPA-rated fuel economy, and a total price of $27,903.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in Michigan from May 2012 through November 2016.
