This Ford Bronco II got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1985 Ford Bronco II is said to have been acquired by the selling dealer from the grandson of its original owner after it had been stored for 17 years, and it now shows 66k miles. The truck is finished in two-tone tan and brown over tan vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 2.8-liter V6 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, manually-locking front hubs, a swing-away spare tire carrier, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo. Work in preparation for the sale reportedly included fluid changes, a rebuild of the carburetor, and replacement of the tires, belts, hoses, fuel tank, and fuel filter. This Bronco II is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a Deluxe Marti Report, the original purchase invoice, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The truck is finished in two-tone Light Desert Tan and Walnut Metallic and features chrome bumpers, factory-tinted glass, door-mounted Western-style mirrors, and a single exhaust outlet.
Factory 15″ steel wheels with polished trim rings wear Firestone Destination A/T2 tires that were reportedly installed by the selling dealer, and a spare is mounted to a swing-out rear carrier. Manually-locking hubs are fitted up front.
The cabin features seats upholstered in tan vinyl with knitted inserts joined by color-coordinated carpets and door panels. Additional appointments include stainless-steel-look dashboard trim, hand-crank windows, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 400 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 2.8-liter V6 was factory rated at 115 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque when new. The selling dealer has reportedly rebuilt the carburetor, changed the oil and other fluids, and replaced the belts, hoses, fuel tank, and fuel filter.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and two-speed transfer case. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
The Deluxe Marti Report lists initial delivery to Pollock Ford in Gadsden, Alabama, equipment and colors, and a production date of March 22, 1985.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with the original purchase invoice and two sets of keys.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Alabama and Florida from its first entry in October 2005 onward.
