This GMC Suburban (1973-1991) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1985 GMC Suburban 2500 4×4 was previously sold on BaT in September 2021 and was subsequently purchased by the seller. The truck is finished in white over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes a Holley air filter, black-finished 16″ steel wheels, a 40-gallon fuel tank, an auxiliary battery, cruise control, power windows and locks, a receiver hitch, an aftermarket rearview mirror, an aftermarket head unit, a Retrosound sound system, and an electric rear tailgate window. This Suburban 2500 shows 39k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.
The truck was refinished in Frost White under previous ownership and features bright moldings on the grill, fenders, and windows. Additional equipment includes chrome bumpers, tinted windows, a receiver hitch, and a power-operated tailgate window.
Black-finished eight-lug 16″ Wheel Vintiques steel wheels are wrapped in 285/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires that were fitted under current ownership. Bilstein shocks have also been installed and braking power is provided by discs up front and drums out back.
The cabin features Slate Grey cloth upholstery on the front captain’s chairs and rear bench seats as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include cruise control, third-row seating, front and rear air conditioning, power accessories, an aftermarket head unit, a Retrosound sound system, a lockable center console with cupholders, a trailer brake controller, an aftermarket backup camera, and an aftermarket rearview mirror that utilizes the license plate-mounted camera. The seller notes that the right-rear window regulator is due for replacement. The air conditioning was repaired under current ownership.
The two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller.
The 5.7-liter V8 features a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Under current ownership the carburetor was replaced, a Holley air filter was installed, and a tune-up is said to have been performed.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a 4.10:1 locking rear differential. The truck features an optional 40-gallon fuel tank and a skid plate shield.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in California and Idaho.
