This Jaguar XJ Series 3 (1980-1992) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1985 Jaguar XJ6 has been registered in California for over three decades and was acquired by the seller in 2021. The car is finished in Cobalt Blue Metallic over Isis Blue leather upholstery and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, 15″ alloy wheels, cruise control, power windows, and an aftermarket Sony CD/cassette stereo. Service completed under current ownership is said to have included reconditioning the cylinder head, overhauling the cooling, fuel, and ignition systems, and replacing the engine bay wiring harnesses, alternator, battery, catalytic converters, engine hoses, driveline mounts, and various gaskets and seals. This XJ6 shows 111k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a maintenance log, service records, spare parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in Cobalt Blue Metallic (JDM) with white pinstripes. Additional exterior details include a power-operated sunroof, twin fuel filler caps, and impact bumpers with bright trim. The trunk lid latch, windscreen seal, headlamp wiring, and various fuses were reportedly replaced under current ownership. Blemishes include a dent in the front passenger door, paint scuffs near the driver’s side headlight, and a crack in the windscreen as well as corrosion near the front and rear windscreen trim. The seller states that the wipers function at one speed and the antenna is cracked in the middle, which prevents full extension.
