1985 Nissan 300ZX 5-Speed

This 1985 Nissan 300ZX shows just 51k miles and is finished in Wine Metallic over a red leather interior. Sold new in New Jersey, the car reportedly remained with its original until August 2018, and was acquired by the selling dealer in February 2019. Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 3.0L V6 paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and features include removable glass roof panels, cruise control, air conditioning, a power driver’s seat, and a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo. Maintenance performed by the selling dealer is said to have included a new steering rack and new rear shocks. This Z31 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report, owner’s manual, and a clean New Jersey title.

The body is finished in Wine Metallic (32) and features gloss black bumpers, flared fenders, mudguards, a rear window wiper, and removable glass roof panels. According to the seller, touch-up paint was applied to the front bumper by the previous owner. Multiple photos showing the exterior lighting can be seen in the gallery, including the pop-up headlights.

The factory 15″ wheels wear older BFGoodrich Touring T/A tires sized 215/60 all around. The included Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. A new steering rack was installed in preparation for the sale.

The two-seat cockpit is finished in red, with leather upholstery on the seats, steering wheel, and emergency brake boot, along with color-matching carpets, dashboard, and center console. The removable glass T-roof panels can be seen in the gallery below. Amenities include power seats with embroidered seatbacks and manually-adjustable headrests, power windows and mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning, a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, and embroidered floor mats. The 6-digit odometer shows approximately 51k miles.

The naturally-aspirated 3.0L VG30E V6 features single overhead camshafts and produced 160 horsepower and 173 pound-feet of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

According to the seller, new rear shocks were installed in April 2019. Additional underside photos are viewable in the gallery below.

The Carfax report lists no accidents or other damage and shows history from May 1985 to April 2019.
