This Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1985 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser was purchased new by the seller’s father from Key Oldsmobile in Columbus, Ohio. Finished in Light Chestnut Metallic over tan cloth, it is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, electric windows, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Delco push-button radio. This Oldsmobile station wagon is now offered by the seller on behalf of his father’s estate at no reserve with a window sticker, a build sheet, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.
The wagon was finished from the factory in Light Chestnut Metallic (58) with Soft-Ray tinted glass, body-side moldings, and polished rocker trim. Additional equipment includes halogen headlights and a power-retractable antenna. The seller notes that the mudflaps and several body moldings show signs of deterioration and the retractable antenna is inoperative.
15″ steel wheels are fitted with disc wheel covers and wear 225/75 Starfire SF340 tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The car is also equipped with power steering.
The cabin features seats upholstered in tan cloth and leatherette with matching carpets and rubberized floor mats. Woodgrain trim accents the dashboard, and additional appointments include power windows, power locks, cruise control, air conditioning, an electric rear tailgate window with a defogger, and a push-button Delco AM/FM radio. The seller notes a worn rear tailgate panel as well as spots of wear and discoloration on the carpets and cargo-area sides.
Instrumentation includes a horizontal 80-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a five-digit odometer showing 1,400 miles. Approximately 150 miles were added by the seller, and total mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the odometer has rolled over.
The carbureted 5.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 140 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a THM200-4R four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The battery was replaced in January 2021.

The window sticker shows factory colors and equipment, initial delivery to Key Oldsmobile of Columbus, Ohio, and a total price of $14,647. A build sheet is included in the sale and is shown in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Ohio from its first entry in May 2009 through its most recent in June 2020.
