This Toyota Celica got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1985 Toyota Celica GT-S was acquired by the seller in October 2022 following a reported period of long-term storage and now shows 56k miles. It is finished in Super Red over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 2.4-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with 14″ split-spoke wheels, a sunroof, body-color wheel arch flares, air conditioning, cruise control, power accessories, and a factory cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer. Service in preparation for the sale included changing the oil and replacing the air conditioning compressor and braking components. This Celica is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Super Red (3E5) and features pop-up headlights, body-color wheel arch flares, a sunroof, power-adjustable side mirrors, mudguards, and a rear wiper.Â
Split-spoke 14″ wheels wear Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires with raised white lettering. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the rear brake pads and rotors were replaced in November 2023 along with the front pads.
The 2+2 cabin features bolstered seats trimmed in gray cloth with patterned inserts that extend to the door panels. Appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a rear cargo area cover and straps, power windows, and a factory cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer. The carpeting is discolored, and corrosion is visible on interior hardware.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 130-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 500 of which were added during current ownership.Â
The fuel-injected 2.4L 22R-E inline-four was rated at 116 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque when new and sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Service in November 2023 is said to have included changing the transmission and rear differential fluid as well as changing the oil and replacing the clutch slave cylinder, rear differential seals, fuel pump, and air conditioning compressor. Corrosion is present on underhood and underside components, and a video showing the engine running can be seen in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Gaps in reporting are present between 1986 through 1998 and 2009 through 2022.Â
