This Jaguar XJS got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1986 Jaguar XJS V12 coupe has been registered in Ohio since new and was acquired by the seller in 2022. It is finished in Antelope Metallic over Buckskin leather and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, power windows, power steering, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. This XJS shows 8k miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a copy of the window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Antelope Metallic and features C-pillar buttresses, power-adjustable mirrors, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome finishing on the bumpers, mirrors, window trim, and headlight surrounds. The seller notes a ding in the driver’s door which can be seen in the photo gallery below. The passenger door shows signs of paintwork and is lighter than the surrounding panels.
Five-spoke 15” alloy wheels are mounted with 215/70 Goodyear Integrity tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in Buckskin leather along with burl walnut inserts on the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include automatic climate control, power windows, cruise control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and an onboard computer that displays fuel consumption and additional readouts.
The steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 8k miles.
The 5.3-liter V12 is equipped with electronic fuel injection and ignition, and it was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
A copy of the window sticker shows original delivery to Geo Byers Sons, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, and lists factory colors, standard equipment, options, and a total amount of $39,250.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Ohio since September 2002.
