This Cadillac Brougham got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1987 Cadillac Brougham d’Elegance was initially delivered to McLean Cadillac of Tustin, California, and it was acquired by the selling dealer in November 2022. It is finished in Corinthian Blue Firemist over Dark Blue leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a vinyl landau roof, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, 15” steel wheels, front disc brakes, Electronic Level Control, power steering, a d’Elegance Brougham seating area, air conditioning, cruise control, and a factory cassette stereo. This Brougham is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, partial service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Corinthian Blue Firemist with a chrome-finished grille, trim, and bumper covers. Additional exterior features include a color-coordinated vinyl landau roof, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, front bumper overriders, a Cadillac hood ornament, intermittent windshield wipers, a power antenna, d’Elegance badging, and tinted windows.
Factory 15” steel wheels wear chrome-finished wire covers and are mounted with 215/75 Hankook Optimo H724 tires. A spare wheel and tire assembly is stowed in the trunk. The car was factory-equipped with Electronic Level Control and power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The braking system was flushed in July 2022.
The cabin is upholstered in Dark Blue leather with a color-coordinated headliner, carpeting, and floor mats, and it features an optional d’Elegance Brougham seating with button-tufted upholstery and Cadillac logos embroidered on the backrests. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, driver position memory, air conditioning, a Symphony Sound cassette stereo, cruise control, a rear window defroster, and power windows, mirrors, and locks.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a horizontal 85-mph speedometer, and a fuel gauge is mounted atop the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 89k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 5.0-liter V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Service in July 2022 included replacing the air injection reactor pump belt, thermostat, and battery as well as the spark plugs and wires.
Corrosion is visible on underbody components, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
The window sticker lists factory colors, equipment, and a total amount of $28,449.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California starting in 1992. The car was designated a gross polluter by the state of California in 2010, 2012, and 2016, and it last passed a California emissions inspection in July 2022.
