This Chevrolet Camaro 3rd Generation 1982-1992 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is finished in Medium Gray Metallic over a gray cloth interior, and power is supplied by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The car was sold new by Century Chevrolet of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania in May 1989, and it was acquired by the selling dealer in spring 2020. Equipment includes power front disc brakes, sport suspension, a limited-slip differential, power steering, and the Z/28 Option Package #3 consisting of air conditioning, tilt steering, a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, an interior roof console, halogen headlights, and more. Recent service included replacement of the catalytic converter and the cat-back exhaust. This Z/28 is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with factory literature, records dating back to the 1980s, copies of the window sticker and 1989 sales invoice, a handwritten account of the first owner’s decades with the car, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.
The body is finished in Medium Gray Metallic (87U) and features Z/28 graphics, gradated black-to-gray body stripes, halogen headlights and fog lamps, electric side mirrors, protective body-side moldings, and a power antenna, as well as a front air dam, ground-effects rocker panels with red pinstriping, and a rear lip spoiler. The passenger-side quarter panel was repainted during previous ownership, according to the selling dealer.
Factory 15″ five-spoke wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Wingfoot HP tires. Braking is provided by power discs up front and drums at the rear, and the car has a factory-equipped Special Sport Suspension.
The interior features white-piped gray cloth bucket seats with matching door panels and carpets and a contrasting black dash pad. Amenities include a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, air conditioning, power windows and locks, a rear window defroster, cruise control, and a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo with a built-in graphic equalizer. A sagging headliner and loose door-panel fabric are noted by the selling dealer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 145-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows just over 39k miles, less than 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 5.0-liter LB9 V8 is equipped with Tuned Port Injection and was rated at 190 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Turbo Hydra-matic 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a factory limited-slip differential. Recent service included the installation of a replacement catalytic converter and a cat-back exhaust system.

The window sticker shows delivery to Century Chevrolet, and it also details $4,593 in factory options and a $17,826 suggested retail price.
The August 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Pennsylvania and New York between May 1989 and April 2019.
