1987 Dodge Ramcharger LE 4×4

This 1987 Dodge Ramcharger LE was acquired by the seller in 2014, reportedly from its original owner, and it now shows 10k miles. The truck is finished in Garnet Red over red cloth and vinyl upholstery and is powered by a carbureted 318ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include an aftermarket dual exhaust system, body-color fender flares, 15″ wheels with 31″ tires, side steps, a receiver hitch, air conditioning, and a Pioneer CD stereo. This Ramcharger is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Garnet Red and features the LE Decor package which included a polished grille, moldings, and headlight bezels as well as a bright panel on the rear liftgate. Additional equipment includes aftermarket fender flares, chrome bumpers, a receiver hitch, side steps, and a rear roof vent.

Silver-finished 15″ wheels with polished trim rings wear 31×10.50″ Cooper Discoverer STT tires, and a partially covered spare is housed in the cargo area. The truck is equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums.

The front captain’s chairs and rear bench are upholstered in red cloth with vinyl accents, and matching upholstery extends to the door panels. Woodgrain trim adorns the color-coordinated dashboard, and additional appointments include air conditioning, a center storage console with cup holders, a floor-mounted transfer case shifter, wing windows, and a Pioneer CD stereo.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for alternator charging status, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 318ci V8 is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 143 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced in December 2022 per the seller, and an oil change was completed in January 2023.

Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. An aftermarket dual exhaust system is installed, and additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Minnesota, and New York beginning with the first entry in November 2012.
