This 1987 Dodge Power Ram W250 4×4 pickup is finished in metallic brown over tan cloth and vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 5.9-liter V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck spent much of its life in Idaho before it was acquired by the current owner in 2022, and features include an eight-foot bed, a bed-mounted toolbox, a tow ball, a receiver hitch and dual towing mirrors as well as 16″ Mickey Thompson wheels, front disc brakes, a suspension lift, wing windows, a tilt steering wheel, a heater/defroster, and a Chrysler radio. This Power Ram W250 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Idaho title in the owner’s name.
The truck is finished in metallic brown with black bodyside moldings and is equipped with a Ram hood ornament, dual towing mirrors, tinted windows, and a chrome front bumper with overriders in addition to an eight-foot bed, a bed-mounted toolbox, diamond-plate bed rails, a rear step bumper with a tow ball, and a receiver hitch. The windshield was replaced in preparation for the sale, and photos showing the replacement unit installed are also provided in the gallery.
Polished 16″ Mickey Thompson eight-lug wheels are wrapped in 285/75 Cooper Discoverer A/T 3 tires, and sidewall depressions on the tires can be seen in the gallery. The front wheels are mounted over manually locking hubs, and the truck is said to have been equipped with a 3″ suspension lift from the factory. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cab’s single bench seat is trimmed in tan vinyl with patterned cloth inserts. Interior appointments include a center console with cup holders, wing windows, a heater/defroster, intermittent windshield wipers, a Chrysler radio with electronic tuning, and a trailer brake controller located under the dashboard. The black floor covering is discolored.
The tilting two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and battery charging status. An aftermarket tachometer has been added in the center of the dashboard, and the five-digit mechanical odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.9-liter V8 is equipped with a Carter carburetor with an electric choke and was factory rated at 175 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Rust is visible in the engine bay.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Corrosion is visible on various underbody components, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Idaho. Gaps in entries are present between October 1987 and October 1992, October 1992 and February 2001, and February 2001 and December 2008.
