This 1987 Ford Mustang LX notchback is powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 that has been fitted with a Procharger, intercooler, and revised fuel system components and is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission and an 8.8″ rear end with a limited-slip differential and Strange Engineering axles. The car was refinished in metallic orange, and the cabin has been fitted with black Corbeau bucket seats with five-point harnesses. The car was further modified with a dual exhaust system with long-tube headers as well as dual fuel pumps, lightweight 15″ alloy wheels, drag radial tires, high-performance unassisted disc brakes, manual rack-and-pinion steering, an adjustable suspension, a roll cage, a Sparco steering wheel, a Lokar shifter, and a Kenwood CD stereo. This notchback Mustang was acquired by the seller in January 2022 and is now offered at no reserve with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.

The battery has been mounted in the trunk and is equipped with a remote shut-off switch.

Additional modifications reportedly include dual DeatschWerks fuel pumps and injectors, E85-rated fuel lines, and a Marshall fuel pressure gauge along with a billet crankshaft sprocket and oil pump gears. A dynamometer readout from June 2023 is provided in the gallery and lists an output of 789 horsepower and 592 lb-ft of torque.

The car is equipped with a Stifflers transmission crossmember and a 3″ aluminum driveshaft. A dual exhaust system with American Racing long-tube headers, an X-pipe, and MagnaFlow mufflers has been fitted. The catalytic converters have been removed.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned potential odometer rollover, no accidents or other damage, and lists history in Kansas and Missouri.
