This 1987 Kawasaki ZL1000 Eliminator is finished in black and powered by a liquid-cooled 997cc DOHC inline-four linked with a six-speed transmission and an enclosed driveshaft. Features include a stepped two-up seat, an aluminum passenger backrest with a vinyl pad, and air-assisted suspension as well as a chrome front fender, staggered-diameter cast alloy wheels, triple disc brakes, chrome engine guards, a four-into-two exhaust system, and a side stand. The bike spent time in Illinois before it was acquired by the current owner in March 2022. This ZL1000 Eliminator is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with a tool kit, an owner’s manual, a sales brochure, and a clean Arizona title in the owner’s name.

The bike is finished in black with gold emblems. Features include a chrome front fender, a stepped two-up vinyl seat, a padded passenger backrest and aluminum grab bars, chrome-finished airbox covers and engine guards, and a side stand.

Staggered-diameter three-spoke cast alloy wheels are finished in silver and are mounted with older 100/90-18″ Shinko front and 170/80-15″ Pirelli rear tires, the latter of which has visible sidewall cracks. Air-assisted suspension is comprised of a front fork as well as dual chrome shocks mounted to the swingarm on the right and the final drive enclosure on the left. Braking is from a trio of single-piston sliding calipers over a pair of drilled rotors up front and a single drilled disc out back.

The chrome handlebar carries dual mirrors and sits aft of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 10,500-rpm redline as well as a console containing a central fuel gauge, six indicator lights, and a keyed ignition switch. The five-digit odometer shows 21k miles, approximately 10 of which were ridden under current ownership.

The liquid-cooled 997cc DOHC inline-four features four valves per cylinder as well as an electric starter, four Keihin carburetors, and a four-into-two exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 110 horsepower.
