This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was purchased by the current owner in July 2011 who has since added approximately 7k of the 50k miles shown. The car is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic over Brazil leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a body-color removable hardtop, a dark brown soft top, painted 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, fog lights, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Becker Grand Prix AM/FM/cassette stereo, and an alarm system. This R107 is now offered on dealer consignment in Illinois with service records, a clean Carfax report and a clean Indiana title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702O) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a dark brown convertible soft top. Additional features include quad headlights, front fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. The four-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 50k miles.
The 5.5-liter M117 V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
