1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was first registered in Illinois and spent time in Florida before being recently acquired by the selling dealer showing 13k miles. It is finished in Light Ivory over Palomino leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a dark brown soft top, a body-color removable hardtop, silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, fog lights, a Pioneer CD stereo, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This R107 560SL is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a hardtop stand, a car cover, spare keys, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

The car is finished in Light Ivory (623) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a dark brown convertible soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes quad headlights, fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. Photos of paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below.

Silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with 205/65 Michelin MXV4 tires showing date codes from 2006. The car was factory equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features two bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Palomino leather with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, an aftermarket Pioneer CD stereo, an integrated radar detector, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The seller notes an audible beep when in reverse.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 13k miles.

The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Illinois and Florida. There are gaps in entries from 1987 to 2006 and 2011 to 2019.

The Florida title is listed as a duplicate.
