This Toyota Supra A70 (1986-1992) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo is finished in Dark Blue Mica Metallic over gray leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a removable sport roof, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension, 16″ alloy wheels, automatic climate control, a digital cassette stereo, an HKS exhaust system, and an aftermarket air filter. The car has been registered in Indiana since 1991 and was acquired by the seller in January 2020. Subsequent service is said to have involved replacement of the valve steam seals, timing belt, water pump, and ball joints. This Supra shows 67k miles and is offered at no reserve with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Indiana title in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in Dark Blue Mica Metallic, the car is said to have been repainted under previous ownership in 1997. Exterior details include a body-colored removable sport roof, pop-up headlights, fog lights, and a rear spoiler. The roof seals and rear hatch shocks were reportedly replaced under current ownership. The seller notes bubbling of the right-front fender trim, and there is a dent on the left-rear quarter panel.
Silver 16″ alloy wheels wear Daytona HR4 225/50 tires that show 1996 date codes. The seller states that the sway bar bushings and end links were replaced in 2020, and service in 2021 involved replacement of the ball joints and a brake fluid flush. The seller notes noise from the front suspension and recommends replacement of the front control arm bushings.
The interior features seats trimmed in gray leather along with a blue dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a four-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, cruise control, a digital clock, and power windows. The leather on the lower-front portion of seats was replaced under current ownership.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel shows wear and frames a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 67k miles, approximately 400 of which were added by the seller.
The turbocharged 3.0-liter 7M-GTE inline-six was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque. The seller has installed a Spectre air filter and an HKS cat-back exhaust system. Service under current ownership is said to have involved replacement of the timing belt, water pump, idler pulleys, accessory belts, valve stem and camshaft seals, spark plugs and wires, and radiator fan shroud.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller states that the drive shaft center bearing was replaced in 2020. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and displays history in Indiana from an initial entry in 1991.
