1987 Toyota Supra Turbo

This 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo is a fixed-roof example finished in red over gray leather and powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension, front and rear spoilers, a power-adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, and 16″ alloy wheels. The car spent time in Pennsylvania prior to being acquired by the current owner in June 2022. This Supra shows 78k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a car show trophy, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.

The car is said to have been refinished in red under prior ownership and features pop-up headlights as well as mudguards, fog lights, polished exhaust tips, and front and rear spoilers.

Silver-finished 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with 225/50 Fuzion Touring tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and a driver-adjustable Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension. The seller states that an alignment is needed.

The cabin is trimmed in gray leather with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes cruise control, a power-adjustable driver seat, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. The seats show wear and cracking, the interior switchgear is worn, the stereo is inoperative, and the seller states the shifter bushings are worn.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel shows wear and is wrapped in an aftermarket cover. A 150-mph speedometer is fitted along with a tachometer and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 78k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller.

The turbocharged and intercooled 3.0-liter 7M-GTE inline-six features dual-overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder and was rated at 230 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque when new. The battery was replaced in June 2020.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller states a differential leak was repaired, the driveshaft was balanced, and the carrier bearing and universal joints were replaced in October 2022.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania and New Jersey from an initial entry in November 1991. There is a gap in entries from December 1991 to August 2004.
