This BMW E30 3-Series Convertible got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1988 BMW 325i convertible is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Bronzit Beige Metallic over tan leather upholstery. Equipment includes a brown soft top, a front spoiler, fog lights, 14″ bottle cap wheels, heated front seats, air conditioning, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. The car spent time in California before it was acquired by the seller on BaT in February 2022 and moved to Montana. This E30 convertible shows 72k miles and is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Bronzit Beige Metallic (139) and features a brown convertible soft top that is said to have been replaced. Equipment includes a front spoiler, a trunk-mounted third brake light, a power antenna, fog lights, and painted mirror caps. Photos show missing trim on the front bumper cover.
Silver-finished 14″ bottle cap wheels are mounted with 185/65 Michelin Defender tires. The car is equipped with an independent suspension and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with vented front rotors.
The cabin features heated front sport seats and a rear bench seat upholstered in tan leather. Interior features include air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power windows, locks, and side mirrors. Photos show cracking leather on the outer bolster of the driver’s seat, and the seller states that the front driver’s seat adjusting mechanisms is intermittently functioning.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 150-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.5-liter M20 inline-six was factory rated at 168 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque, and it drives the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The battery was reportedly replaced in November 2021.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California and Montana from its first entry in April 1994.
