This Chevrolet C/K GMT400 (1988-2002) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1988 Chevrolet K3500 Silverado 4×4 pickup is powered by a 7.4-liter V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in red over two-tone red vinyl, and features include running boards, a bed liner, an AM/FM stereo, and air conditioning. The truck spent decades in Minnesota before being relocated to Ontario earlier this year and acquired by the selling dealer. This K3500 Silverado shows 10k miles and is now offered in Canada with clean Ontario registration.
The truck is finished in red with black pinstripes and features a Fleetside bed as well as aluminum running boards, front tow hooks, a drop-in Pendaliner bed liner, black wheel arch flares, and chrome bumpers. Rock chips are noted on the hood, as are scuffs atop the cargo box.
The 16″ wheels are mounted with Goodyear Wrangler HT tires measuring 245/75. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Three tires were replaced in an October 2022 service.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in two-tone red vinyl along with a matching dashboard and door panels. Interior amenities include an AM/FM stereo, a rubber floor cover, and air conditioning. The air-conditioning system has been converted to R134a refrigerant.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 10k miles.
The 7.4-liter V8 was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission with a low first gear as well as a dual-range transfer case. Corrosion is present on underside components and can be viewed close-up in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Minnesota and Ontario, Canada, from the first entry in 2002. A mileage inconsistency is reported on May 2023. The most recent mileage entry notes a reading of 9,510 kilometers on May 26, 2023, while the selling dealer’s June 7, 2023, odometer photo shows 9,504 miles.
The truck does not have a title as it is registered in a country that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration.
