1988 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Silverado 4×4

This 1988 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 is finished in gray with red accents over a gray cloth interior, and is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes the Silverado Package, 15″ Rally wheels, third-row seating, front and rear air conditioning, front captain’s chairs, and aluminum running boards. The truck spent time in the Pacific Northwest before it was acquired by the selling dealer out of California in November 2020. Recent maintenance includes replacement of the accessory belts and an oil change. This Suburban is offered with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean Arizona title.

The truck is finished in metallic gray with red lower surfaces and custom multi-tone pinstriping. Aluminum running boards have been added, and additional equipment includes a receiver hitch, chrome bumpers, and Silverado badging. The selling dealer notes paint chips on the hood from a formerly-installed bug shield as well as a dent on the one of the barn-style rear doors.

15″ Rally wheels wear 235/75 Hankook Dynapro ATM tires that were mounted in July 2018. Additional service at this time included replacement of the brake pads.

The cabin features gray cloth upholstery on the front captain’s chairs and rear bench seats, matching door panels, and a lockable center console with cupholders. Amenities include power accessories, cruise control, front and rear air conditioning, and a Pioneer CD stereo. A crack is noted on the driver’s side of the dashboard.

A two-spoke steering wheel mounted on a tilting column frames an 85-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and an odometer showing 6k miles. The odometer has rolled over at least once, and total mileage is unknown.

The fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8 was factory-rated at 210 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Service in preparation for the sale included replacement of the accessory belts and an oil change.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission, a two-speed transfer case, and a 3.73:1 ratio rear axle. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery below.

The Carfax report lists no accidents or other damage and shows history in Oregon, Washington State, and California from 2004 through its most recent entry in March 2020. A potential odometer rollover is noted in July 2018, and a mileage inconsistency is noted in March 2020. Video footage is viewable below.
